Well, That Was Annoying

Apparently, integrating my Twitter stream into my blog was a major fail. At first I was thinking it might be cool, since a lot of people I know still aren’t on Twitter, and I’m pretty active over there. The combination of the Twitter Tools plugin not working correctly (posting the same tweets to my blog in duplicate, sometimes as many as seven times) and my lack of foresight that it would be a pain in the ass for my Twitter followers if they actually subscribed to my blog via RSS has made this blog, well, annoying for the past week.

It’s time to end the insanity. I’ve turned off the setting that cross posts my tweets to the feed of this blog, and instead my most recent tweets will be visible in the sidebar.

    Glad you did this… I actually had gone to Yahoo Pipes and filtered out your tweets since I was already getting them on twitter. :-)
