Pre-Production for the D&D Show Underway
Last night we had a get together at our house in honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day and drank Captain Morgan and Coke (why didn’t we get a picture of my excellent Captain Morgan pose?!). D’Laina came over and we made some serious progress on the conceptualization of what we’re now calling “The D&D Show”. This working title doesn’t stand for death and destruction, it stands for Danielle & D’Laina.
D’Laina is one of my closest friends and has agreed to teach Kevin Chinese and live with me while he’s gone for four months. We are still deciding whether or not we should have one or two more housemates, or if the two of us will be entertaining enough on our own. Frankly, if D’Laina can continue to do such spot-on Sarah Palin impressions it might not be necessary to do any sort of “casting”.
The premise of “the show” is simple, show Kevin what we’re up to while he’s in China - and show the rest of the world, too. Hopefully this will help me battle missing Kevin, and will give me more of an outlet for the silly things I like to do and my strange sense of humor. I’m thrilled with my newfound love of video production and editing, so I’m looking forward to coming up with creative segments.
