Is there an “adult” iPhone app?

It occurs to me that I haven’t searched for any “adult” iPhone apps in the App Store.  It’s time to change that, and I’m going to give you the play-by-play (no laughing!).

So far searches for “porn” and “adult” haven’t turned up anything, but why would it be so obvious?  Why not be more discrete?  Searching for “sex” turns up 2 word games.  I searched for “lady” and found Lady Biz, which appears to keep track of all my “business” for my next doctor’s appointment (errrrm it lets me track intercourse, I wonder if that uses GPS!).

Time to turn to The Google for the answers.

Well, it looks like there isn’t any application currently in the App Store (based on my brief research), and it makes me wonder if an application for delivering porn is even a good idea.  Since most people hide their proclivity for viewing scantily (if at all) clad individuals performing sexual acts, do you really want an icon the home screen of your iPhone.

Maybe what we need is an app called “Black Box” and the icon was black, so you couldn’t even see it on the screen unless you knew were you had put it.  In all seriousness though, I know some people who are very interested in exploring the possibilities for building a porn app for the iPhone, so if that’s something you’d like to work on (and I mean engineers here, not original content) let me know.
