So here’s the deal. I approved your comment, but I want to make it clear to you that the whole Marcelo bashing thing isn’t going to be tolerated on my blog. This blog is MY property, and I don’t think this negative nancy bullshit has any place here. @Rick: Hope to clear up any confusion. TechFlash is running a promotion to have the community pick one of our six presenters at EUIdol– that lucky winner will get a free ticket to EU and the chance at stardom. As John Cook mentioned, our steering committee is choosing the other 5 presenters from #EUIdol tweets. We used to just pick from the crowd in attendance that day but thought that this would be more democratic, and part of living the dream of social media that is a major theme throughout the event. So this year, we’re taking election day seriously and voting for the best tweeted pitches before the event. And to sweeten the deal (this is breaking news)– everyone who tweets their pitch will be entered into a drawing to have their $600 course fee waived for the Founders Institute! Yes, must be present to win, but hoping that’s not a surprise. EUIdol is the icing on the cake of our full-day Entrepreneur University, so we certainly hope you can join us Thursday.
